What to expect
Your learner journey
Six stages following the DVSA national standard, from your first cockpit drill to driving well after the test.

Getting to know the car
Cockpit drill, controls and safety checks, then moving off and stopping in quiet conditions until it feels automatic.

Core control and observation
Clutch control, gear changes, junctions and the mirror–signal–manoeuvre routine, explained before you drive and reviewed afterwards.

Busier roads and manoeuvres
Roundabouts, crossings, dual carriageways and the DVSA manoeuvres, once the skills beneath them are secure.

Independent driving
Following signs and sat-nav directions and making your own decisions — the way the practical test asks you to drive.

Test standard and readiness
Mock tests, show me / tell me questions and honest progress reviews, so you sit the test when you're ready.

Driving for life
Motorway tuition and Pass Plus after your pass, for conditions a test can never cover.
